Прошу выслать приглашение и регламент на Тетерину Татьяну, 25 января 1965 г.рожд. 99 ; 2084907 Читайкину Елену (данные у них есть), Климашев Роман, 22 ноября 1941г. АС666408. Это нужно для комитета и для оформления виз. Кто и где будет играть можем решить позднее.

Мы еще раз настаиваем на участие наших женщин в таком порядке.1.Тетерина Т. 1-3 место в чемпионате мира (для нас этот результат важнее, чем чемпионат России, прошедший в Ишимбае с участием 10 шашисток Ишимбая. What's happening with personal place for champion of Europe-2000
(Tansykkuzhina)? Why are Russian players so low in reserve list? 3 players
from Latvia are in main list and fourth player is higher in reserve list than Russian players!

Dear Yuri,

I cannot remember telling you that Tansykkuzhina had been allotted a
personal place by the FMJD. I know we considered it, because we would
very much like to give her a personal place. But after all, all the arguments
considered, this was not possible.
I am sorry for her, but I think she will play anyhow.

- both reserves from RDF high enough on the list to have very good chances to play in WC!"

You got this letter also. And some days later it is published new list and Russia have one place in main list and two last places in reserve list. Why are Russian players so low in reserve list? 3 players from Latvia are in main list and fourth player(!) is higher in reserve list than Russian players! What principles was used when making reserve list?

Dear Yuri,

Sometimes, the bureau of the FMJD hears things and publishes them before
they are official.
Bastiaannet is not to blame for that, because I am. I should not let him
know things before they are official. But these are things that happen.
The official list certainly has 1 russian player in the main list, because
all federations have.
Then there is a russian reserve player at the third place. I don't think
that is very low, as you say. The only problem is that more federations than
ever inscribed. That is new and that is what is worrying you. But the rules
have been followed as always.
Explanation:
First Latvian player does not count (personal place - world champion)
Second Latvian player is the federation place (Zile)
Latvia has right to the first reserve place, because they were first in the
last championship (Chacha)
After that, we follow the places of the last championship, without giving
reserve places to federations already having a reserve place, and so on.
But all this is not very important, because the Surinam player already
withdrew, and some others will follow. So I think that Tamara will be
playing. She is the second reserve player now, and you have more experience
than I have with draughts tournaments, and you know that second reserve
players always play.
There is of course a possibility that it will be different this time, and
that would mean that draughts is growing better.
You should be pleased, but I know you would not be.

Теперь вроде бы всем должно быть всё ясно, хотя нет, у нас есть один вопрос к г-ну Климашеву, а заодно и к Госкомспорту:
" Кто утверждал г-на Климашева в качестве тренера сборной команды? Нам о его умении играть в стоклеточные шашки ничего неизвестно. Мало того, что он за государственный счёт съездил на генеральную ассамблею и пожил полмесяца в Голландии, он еще вдобавок занял место одного из возможных тренеров сборной и оставил некоторых российских участниц чемпионата без квалифицированной помощи."
